Having opened for 5 weeks -ending Tuesday 08th Nov- this pop-up shop offered customers the chance to customise their ownย personal KitKat and the packaging as well!!*๏ฝฅใ๏พ๏ฝฅ*\(โใฎโ\ ) {Note: I absolutely loveeee packaging, so this was a bonus – wooohooo~!}
Enter the transparent chocolate factory walls and you are met with the distinct KitKat chocolate smell. Notorious brightย red colours run along walls and chocolateย bars with fresh ingredients can be spottedย everywhere.ย Along the right-hand side are touch-screens which allowsย the creativityย to take place; just behind is a counter which offers the chance to buy limited edition KitKat with flavours ranging from Matcha and Mint to Single-Origin 70% chocolate, hazelnut and mandarin.
The overall experience was really fun and unique – definitely worth a try. However,ย there were a few downfalls:ย it wasย on the slightly pricier side at ยฃ7 per experience, despiteย the ingredients being fairly common. Also, once digitally customised there is aย 60-90minute wait before you can actually collect, which is fine considering theย location is in Stratford Westfield so you can shop/ eat in-between waiting time. Nonetheless, the chance to try this experience – at least once – ย was quite exciting and fun! ย ๐
